There will be a test on Thursday over the skills in chapter 2.

Spelling
This week the pattern is long and short i and long and short o. They should work on w.b. pages 37-39 throughout the week. If they passed the pretest, they will work on different activities.

ReadingWe will focus on the reading strategy, author's viewpoint. Author's viewpoint refers to the author's opinion, ideas of what is important or attitude. The author might give their opinion directly or you might have to infer the information by reading clues or other information that the author provides. Here is a great link to practice author’s viewpoint: http://www.studyzone.org/testprep/ela4//authorsviewpointp.cfm
